New Starter Sessions Summer 2019

We have some new starter sessions for local paddlers.  Please click on the link to go to our beginner’s page.

15th of May

We were also at the Reading K4 face.  Two Ealing teams competed.  Well done to all of those taking part.

Success in Nottingham

Team Ealing did well again at the Masters National and Open Regatta on the 7th and 8th of May in Nottingham.

Congratulations to Leo with a victory in the Mini-Sprint B K1 and Philip, who took 3rd place in the Mini-Sprint B K2. Mathew did well too – a rookie of the competition. Third place in the race for Girls C K1 200m and K2 1000m was won by Yun. Well done! Andreas had a very heavy battle in group Boys B because it was his first competition at that level. Hard work pays off. Well done Andreas!

Finally, a special mention for Trevor, who managed to set several national records (K4 500m & 1000m, K2 200m & 500m) in Junior U18 group and was promoted to Men’s A.

Winter Series Results

Winter Series has concluded its final race on 6 March in Leaside. Unfortunately we missed the first leg of the 6 races, yet our club achieved great results.

Series trophies as follows:

Andy Brown – 3rd (Vet Men’s K1)
Leo Villaruel – 2nd (U14’s K1 Mixed)
Philip Levkovsky – 3rd (U14’s K1 Mixed)

Our club finished in 5th place (tied) in club race.

Congratulations to all!

Litter Picking on the Grand Union Canal

Ealing canoe club recently joined forces with local community group Greenford Delta to pick litter from the canal.  We got the canoes out and spent a very pleasant morning slowly meandering down the canal picking up rubbish in the water and on the banks.  It was great to work with the Greenford Delta group and as kayakers we really appreciate having as little debris as possible in the water where we train.  We look forward to future collaborations with the Greenford Delta group in the future.  For more information please click on the following:

Winter Series 2014 – 2015
